Description
The legendary Futura line, designed by Dora Demmel in 1973, was the start of a revolution in eyewear design. The boldness of the shapes, the thickness of the frames and the simplicity of the colors were second to none. As one of the first and only female designers, Dora Demmel managed to open the field for every type of creative experiment that was to come thereafter. In terms of design innovation, the Futura line might just be the most important eyewear collection ever created.
The 570 made its place in eyewear history through its revolutionary third eye design, allowing the wearer to let its inner light shine while remaining protected from the sun. As worn by Michael Henderson, Elton John and many others.
