Antique silver lorgnette, Victorian sterling silver lorgnette with push button release, antique silver folding lorgnette on long handle
This is a superb pair of Victorian silver folding lorgnette. It measures approximately 15 cm long with the lenses measuring just over 10 cm wide when opened. There’s a 925 stamp on the underneath of the nose bridge for sterling silver. The handle is ornately decorated with a foliage pattern on each side. On the handle is a little button that allows the spectacles to pop open as shown in the video. The lorgnette contains a pair of reading lenses, one of which has some light scratching. The lorgnette is in overall good antique condition as you can see in the photos. A beautiful collectable item still ideal for use today.

I’m now using eco-friendly packaging for all orders including biodegradable brown craft paper tape, biodegradable bubble wrap and void fill packing chips and, where possible, reused boxes. The only thing I’ve not yet been able to find is eco-friendly clear tape used for attaching shipping labels, so if you’re aware of any such thing please let me know where I can find it. I’d love to be able to offer 100% eco-friendly packaging!
